Corporate Social Responsibility

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are central to our business. We strive for positive change by integrating sustainable practices into all our activities. From carefully selected suppliers to environmentally friendly production methods, we are committed to a better future. Together with our partners, we are working towards a fair and green world.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals launched in 2015 by the United Nations, aimed at tackling the most pressing global issues, including poverty, inequality, climate change and environmental pollution. These goals provide a shared roadmap for governments, businesses and individuals to build a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive future by 2030.

We are actively working on the following SDGs:

  • Decent Work and Economic Growth: We collaborate with social enterprises such as Larcom to provide meaningful work to people who are far removed from the labour market.
  • Responsible Consumption and Production: We reduce packaging waste through bulk delivery, smart packaging design and local recycling initiatives.
  • Climate Action: We reduce our carbon footprint by prioritising sea freight, optimising loading space and promoting sustainable commuting among employees.

Through these initiatives, we are contributing to a more sustainable business model and supporting global efforts for a better future.

Workspace Footprint Reduction

We are committed to a sustainable future. We have taken various initiatives to reduce our ecological footprint and actively contribute to climate goals. Below are some of our key steps:

  • Electric and hybrid company cars: We have made our company car fleet more sustainable by switching to hybrid and electric vehicles, reducing CO₂ emissions by 80%.
  • Charging points for company cars: We have installed charging stations for our electric vehicles, encouraging the use of sustainable energy.
  • Bicycle plan for employees: To promote the use of environmentally friendly means of transport, we offer our employees the opportunity to participate in a bicycle plan. This makes it easier to purchase a bicycle for commuting, which reduces CO₂ emissions by 70% compared to travelling by car.
  • Public transport season tickets: We encourage the use of public transport by providing season tickets, which leads to a 40% reduction in the ecological impact of commuting.

Our business operations are focused on minimising CO₂ emissions, both in our daily work and in the transport of our products. These initiatives contribute to our mission to actively work on climate action, so that we have a positive impact on the world around us, not only today but also in the future.

Responsible Supply Chain Management

We strive for a sustainable and ethical approach in all our business processes, from product development to logistics. We are committed to a responsible supply chain that not only takes into account the quality of our products, but also their impact on the environment and society. We do this in the following ways:

  • Product development: We focus on developing products that excel in quality, sustainability and safety, and that use sustainable materials and recyclability.
  • Procurement: Our suppliers comply with our code of conduct and sustainability standards, ensuring responsible and transparent cooperation.
  • Production: We strive to minimise the environmental impact of our production processes, while maintaining health and safety standards and providing quality assurance.
  • Logistics: We are actively working to reduce transport emissions, lower energy consumption in our warehouse and reduce packaging waste.

Minimising packaging waste

We strive to reduce our ecological footprint by reducing packaging waste. We have taken various initiatives to minimise the amount of packaging material we use:

  • In collaboration with our partners, we offer a large part of our range in bulk. Without individual packaging. This includes chargers, cases, cables, but also glass protectors. This not only reduces packaging waste, but also helps to lower costs and logistical burden. Up to 35% of our sales are now delivered packaging-free, tailored to the needs of our customers. Whether it concerns B2B orders, promotions, or giveaways.
  • Packaging with care: Instead of pre-packaging everything, we work from our own bulk stock for a large part of our range and package in smaller batches based on actual turnover rates. This allows us to remain flexible in our deliveries and limit unnecessary packaging waste.
  • Recycling programme: We are working on a local packaging recycling programme that we aim to launch in Q1 2026 to further improve the sustainability of our packaging.
  • Reuse of returns: We do not throw away old or damaged returns. Instead, we repackage them and try to resell them through other channels.
  • Sustainable printing: We print specific information on our packaging in the United Kingdom when we actually package the products in the exact quantities required, thereby reducing unused printed packaging to 0%.

These initiatives help us to achieve responsible consumption and production by promoting sustainable product packaging and reducing waste.
